In a bizarre partnership that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret sect.
The adventure focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
